Frequently Asked Questions

 

 

1.      ARE YOU A REGISTERED BUSINESS?

Yes, I am a fully registered business in the state of Victoria (ABN 48 439 804 196). I also have current General & Public Liability Insurance and Working With Children Check.

2.      WHERE IS YOUR BUSINESS LOCATED?

In the suburb of Pakenham in Victoria, Australia (South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne).

3.      HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?

I will travel by car for approximately 30 minutes from Pakenham, Victoria. Further distances may be agreed upon at an additional cost.

4.      WHERE AND WHEN ARE YOUR PARTIES HELD?

I am a mobile service so parties are usually held in your home or other chosen venue (I must have access to warm water). I generally host parties on Saturdays or Sundays however, school holidays and Fridays are also sometimes possible. Party times usually commence from 12pm onwards.

5.      ARE YOUR PARTIES ONLY FOR BIRTHDAYS?

No, my parties are suitable for any occasion! Some of the other events I have hosted include a girls’ basketball team break-up and a communion. I am happy to tailor a package to your needs.

6.      DO YOU ALSO PAMPER ADULTS, SUCH AS A HEN’S NIGHT OR ADULT BIRTHDAY?

Unfortunately, I do not provide any pampering services for adults.

​

7.      DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

In most cases, a $50 non-refundable deposit is payable 7 days after confirming your booking. Payment can be made either by bank transfer or Pay ID.

​

8.      HOW LONG DO YOUR PARTIES GO FOR?

Depending on the number of guests, the parties are generally around 1.5 to 2.5 hours long.

9.   HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I HAVE AT MY PARTY?

There is no minimum number of guests required however, you will be charged the full party fee even if there are less than 5 girls. The maximum number is 12 girls. I may be able to accommodate larger bookings on occasion, please contact to discuss.

10.   WHAT IS THE PREFERRED AGE GROUP FOR YOUR PARTIES?

My parties are usually enjoyed by ages 5 to 12. With lots of different packages, there will be a party to suit all ages and personalities!

11.   ARE BOYS AND CHILDREN YOUNGER THAN 4 YEARS OLD ABLE TO JOIN IN?

Yes of course, boys are able to join in the party if they wish. I am also happy for children younger than 5 years old to be included (such as younger siblings) however, in my experience, they are likely to only want to take part in a few activities.

12.   WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE PARTY?

In addition to everything mentioned in the party package, I bring plastic champagne glasses for the 'pink bubbles', towels, face washers, and a small table for makeup and nail polish. Tables and chairs for the Glamorous Miss party can also be supplied. During cooler months, the robes provided are warm and fluffy however, during warmer weather they are light-weight pink satin robes to ensure the girls do not over-heat.

13.   WHAT DO I NEED TO ORGANISE FOR THE PARTY?

You will just need to organise drinks and snacks/food for your guests and please feel free to serve this throughout the party. I will require access to warm water. I am more than happy to conduct parties undercover outdoors during fine weather (not too windy or raining). Don’t panic if you think your home is too small – I always manage to fit somewhere!

14.   HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?

15.   WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I MAKE A BOOKING?

I will email you a booking confirmation with details regarding paying your deposit. Consent Forms, which are permission forms that are required to be signed by the parent of each child attending the party, will also be emailed as a PDF file. The printable invitations can be found here.

16.   WHEN WILL YOU ARRIVE ON THE DAY?

I usually arrive around 15-30 minutes early in order to set up for your party. To make things a little easier, I would also appreciate being able to park on your driveway, or close to the door where I need to enter.

​

17.   WHAT HAPPENS IF A GUEST IS UNABLE TO ATTEND THE PARTY – DO I STILL NEED TO PAY FOR THEM?

Any guests, in addition to the 5 included in the package, that are unable to attend on the day will not be charged for – i.e. if you have confirmed that you will have 7 guests and only 6 turn up on the day, you will be charged for the party (which includes 5 girls) plus 1 additional guest. However, if you confirm that you will have 5 girls and only 4 turn up on the day, then you will still be charged the full party fee for 5 girls. 5 is the minimum number that I charge for even if you have less than 5 girls.

18.   HOW DO I PAY FOR THE BALANCE OF MY PARTY?

Payment of the balance owing is either made at the party in cash only (NO Eftpos or Credit Card), via Pay ID, or via bank transfer 4 days prior to the party so as to allow the transfer to clear.

19.    WHAT IF I WISH TO CANCEL MY PARTY?

The $50 deposit will be retained by me and any additional monies paid will be refunded. The $50 is to cover admin costs, time, phone calls/emails etc. as well as having held your spot which prevents me from taking another booking. I will give you the option of re-booking a party within 3 months from cancellation in which case, the $50 retained will be applied to this party.
